Here is a sampling of what parents have to say
about the work being done at the Sertoma Speech Clinic:
“Our daughter is six years old and is being teased at school for her annunciation. After the school system refused help because she hadn’t met certain ‘guidelines,’ I was referred to the Sertoma Club. They accepted our daughter without question, stating that if she’s being teased, then there is a problem and they wanted to help. We are currently at our second session, and Lexie is happy to come and receive the help, as well as eager to work hard to make the necessary corrections. Thank you!” - Karen
“We have seen a great improvement in the clarity and range of Sophia’s vocabulary. We feel very fortunate to have Sertoma.” - Dawn
“I have noticed a huge difference in my son since starting therapy in March 2007. Family members have also commented on how much better he is doing. I have found the homework to be helpful and the therapists have been wonderful. DJ has enjoyed coming each week because it has been a very positive experience! Thank you for all you do!!”
“I’ve only been with Sertoma for two months, and I’ve seen a lot of improvement in my son’s speech. I’m thankful that I found Sertoma.” - K.S.
Over the years, Sertomans have sponsored thousands of speech and hearing clinics for children throughout the world.
